Think the STARTER is BAD
Came home the other day from a long ride and shut it down. When back out to leave again with it and it wasn't starting. Had all the symptoms of a bad starter. (Replaced this 4 years ago).
Anyway I pulled the starter off today and found this.... I say its no good.

Safety Car
When I put the current engine in my 92 the stock replacement starter lasted about 4 months before the nose cracked.... got another one and it only lasted 2 months before the same problem.
This is what I'm running now.
