WINALDL only reads raw data

WINALDL only reads raw data
I bought a usb ALDL cable from aldlcable.com. The problem I'm having is that when I use WINALDL it will only display data in the raw data tab. I've been searching the web for about 2 hours now with no solution. Has anyone run across this?

I attempted to use winaldl to datalog my 84 but couldn't seem to establish comms between the laptop and the 84s computer. Looks like you are one step ahead of me.
