Thank you C-4 forum
I had an issue with hesitation, bogging. Once started i would try to drive off and at initial tip-in it would hesitate and stumble but would recover if i backed off pedal. The vette would accelerate if i gingerly pressed slowly on the pedal all the way to wide open. If i held steady throttle it would do fine. Any load that required sudden throttle input would cause a hesitation and subsequent bog. Initially i ruled out the fuel pump because it would eventually accelerate to a high rate of speed as long as i pressed slowly on the pedal (over 100 mph). Vette had recently been tuned with new wires, plugs, cap, rotor fuel filter. Decided to research forum and after reading several threads..decided to start with fuel pressure (34 lbs). Replaced fuel pump but left pulsator on. Vette seemed to run fine with normal response but now had a hard start problem. Back to the forum for more research and decided to replace fuel pump relay. No change...more research and determined pulsator might be the problem. Changed out pulsator for fuel tube. Runs and starts perfect. I have had this c4 since 1989. I purchased with 32k miles now has 166k. Daily driver. It has been a great car needing only minor maintenance outside of a transmission replacement at 125k. I also have 2 c5s...thanks again.

I hope you used SUBMERSIBLE fuel line. I put some silicone hose on mine and it swelled up to about twice its normal diameter. You need THIS stuff:

I have a 92 and have the same problem.
After acquiring the vette from my brother who for 6 years started the car like once or twice per year.
I got the vette last year and changed the spark plugs, motor oil, transmission oil, air filter, fuel filter, transmission filter, and changed out the coolant.
I really didnt drive the vette much after changing all of the stuff that i mentioned but now i have experienced the bogging or lack of acceleration.
I was thinking it was stuff passing thru the tank to the injectors and after time will clear itself out but i dont think so.
I feel it might be the fuel pump ready to go out.
Any suggestions?
