Default spark plug wire metal heat shield

Does anyone know where I can get metal shields for spark plug boots? I'm having trouble with one of the wires melting on the header and the 1200 degree heat shield wrapped around the header where the boot touches just isn't cutting it. I've heard of people using the metal shields that clip onto the boots but I cant find them anywhere. Any info would be great!!!!

Thanks

avoid metal, the sparks go thru the plug wires and ground to the headers

they sell thermo plug boots in summit racing, like mine, if they touch the headers they degrade, had my for a year, a little messed up but helps, the plugs that at touching still get hot and brittle, maybe someone else has a better idea...

next time i go with the 90 degree boot like oem

Presuming straight plug boots, could check parts houses/dealer for 2000 Pontiac TransAm as came stock on ours.
