Well i'm out here tinkering with my car tonite fitting up a mini bra .Well
i look at my filter and it does't seem to look right .Any way i remove the box and see gaps between the filter and box ,not a positive seal .Try different filters puralator, fram , lip is so thick i had pull the assembly out of the car and work it in to actauly make it seal .Tried the k&n ,the sealing lip is thinner, and it fits and seals a lot better.Pulled the mass air flow sensor to inspect it and found it just caked in a thin layer of dirt.Well any way after a good cleaning i went for a spin ,No more bogging or hesitation . Just something to think about ,Make sure your getting a good seal @ the air box. Your maf may be in worse shape than you think.
