Default timing issue

I have an 84 corvette that I converted to tpi/speed density about ten years ago. I recently did some work to the motor which I had to pull the distributer. My question being is there a pin number/position at the ecm that I can put a disconnecting point to set the base timing at 6btc. thanks

Jumper the aldl like when you check for codes, that should put it into timing mode.

You open the EST (Electronic Spark Timing) connector to set the timing. This isolates the ECM from the distributor and removes any timing added by the ECM. The connector is next to the windshield wiper motor and has a tan wire with a black stripe.

You will set an error code 42 when you do this. I don't remember, but I don't think it will turn on the SES light.
