Default LT4 rocker studs and rockers on a LT1 head??

I want to install OE LT4 roller rockers and studs on my LT1 heads. Because the LT4 rockers are not adjustable, will this combo work? I also want to use the GM hot cam. Comments?

Although not optimal, they will work. There are a few LT4 guys using this setup. Unless you already have the LT4 rockers/studs, you would be better off going with an adjustable set.

That's it. I already have the LT4 studs and rockers laying around. I just wanted to know if the geometry works. Another thought, What do guys with LT4s do when they change cams with no valve adjusting?

We do nothing; they're NON adjustable; as long as the new cam isn't ground with a reduced base circle, nothing changes.

Thanks, so a GM hot cam will work with the non adjusting rockers on a LT1 aluminum head? That would mean the dimensions of the LT4 and LT1 heads are the same as far as the stud shoulder height? So many questions.

I ran the stock LT4 rockers and studs in a LT4 and a 95 LT1 with the hot cam. I also replaced the springs on the LT1 with the stock LT4 springs. Had no issues with either setup.
