My 86 ses lite comes on in the morning and stays on until the engine warms up then goes off for the rest of the day I checked for codes this morning and came up with code 32 any idea why the lite goes off thanks

It sounds like the EGR switch is grounded all the time. The SES will do that on certain codes, I get 32 from no EGR only once in a while on the highway. Mines deleted from the car, but not the chip.

If you have the EGR time/temp switch that's mounted in the top of the EGR tube at the intake manifold, take that wire and see if its loose in the switch...twist it a bit and see if the wire is grounded against the tube..gets real hot there...
Often just playing around with the wire will end the code. The switch was SOL for a while but I hear they are available again. Also check the EGR solenoid plug.

The ECM checks the EGR temperature switch at startup to see if it's closed (it shouldn't be). If it is the ECM sets error code 32. You might try disconnecting it to see if the problem goes away.
The EGR temperature switches can be "adjusted". It sounds like yours is too tight. See here:
