Default vacuum hose from bottom of throttle body??

I removed this from my 89 vert when I pulled my plenum, runners, and injectors to replace injectors and polish plenum and runners. I have reassembled everything (with the exception of a couple of missing runner bolts) and this tube is left over. It looks like it comes out of the bottom of the throttle body assembly but I am not sure what or where it connects to.

Would someone please offer some guidance?

Thank you in advance.

that looks like the EGR valve to solenoid hose with "U" shaped end to the valve.

Is the EGR solenoid the one that uses the thermostat housing bolt using a small flat bracket that holds the EGR solenoid?

Thank you for the responses. I think I may have removed the EGR valve and blocked the hole into the intake manifold with a gasket and cover plate as I don't have any CATS. The exhaust is Hooker ceramic headers to a Borla 2185 straight pipe exhaust. Vehicle is registered outside emission required area.

Please let me know. Thanks again.

Yes, the EGR Solenoid attaches to one of the thermostat housing bolts with a flat bracket.

Thank you. I think the EGR solenoid on mine is two female style openings.

Separate question for you GKK: What if any are the emission reqs. for my vette if I register it in California being that it will be 25 yrs. old if and when I register?

ALL Factory installed Emission equipment must be present, operating and the vehicle must be able to pass the California Emissions test to register your vehicle in California.

California is VERY Strict on emissions and only passenger vehicles 1975 and older are exempt.

You're going to have to re-install the stock Exhaust Manifolds which have the AIR (Air Injection Reaction) Diverter valve fittings, EGR Valve w/Crossover tube which connects the passenger side exhaust manifold to the intake manifold and California Certified Catalytic Converters with the stock Y Pipes.

Sorry, for the bad news...

That blows!!!!

I am going to have to sell my baby here then at the end of the month.

Washington State doesn't require emissions once the vehicle is 25 years old.

I will not neuter my vette for any State.
