Best 383 LT1 stroker kit for Trick Flow 430HP
Hi guys,
I will buy Trick Flow 430HP top end engine kit and I was wondering, which 383 stroker kit is the best for me?
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/tfs-k304-430-400
My goal is about 500HP crank, so is something below good enough?

Or it is better to go with forged pistons?

If your goal is 500hp, why are you buying a top end kit thats only gonna make 430hp? Your asking for disappointment using that kit on a 383.
A real 500hp engine from me gets all forged rotating assy. 450hp engines can get by with cast crank, SIR type rods and forged pistons. I personally don't like to use hyper pistons beyond 400hp.

My budget is unlimited I want about 500HP crank, so if somebody can write detail specification of parts I need to buy, that will be great
My idea was that with Trick Flow 430HP kit, Edelbrock Intake manifold http://www.summitracing.com/parts/edl-7109 , 58mm TB, CAI, Custom headers and complete exhaust, no cats, 383 stroker (or maybe 396 stroker) I can achieve 500HP crank.

I just read this article: LT1 Cylinder Head Comparison - GM High-Tech Performance Magazine
If I understood it, AFR heads which they used are AFR 1031
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/afr-1031/
Cam is 280XFI, but I can't decide which one of these, I think first one?
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/cca-08-467-8/
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/cca-12-467-8/
Also, these heads require stock LT1 inlet manifold (Not compatible with self-aligning rocker arms., designed for use with Generation II LT1 intake manifolds only.) , so Edelbrock LT4 IM is not in the game, if I understood it correctly.
Can I use this rocker arms with this combo?
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/tfs-31400513
Regarding gasket set, which kit I can use because I don't see on Summitracing that there is set for 383 ci, so can I use set from Trick Flow 430HP top end kit?
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/tfs-31400911/
Also, pushrods I can't buy at the same time, first I need to measure length, OK?
So, if I am right about these parts above , which stroker kit do you recommend?
Thanks a lot in advance.

Why?
Have you factored in extra $$ to upgrade the drive line to handle that level of power ?
500 at the crank = how much at the wheels ???

Do your research.
Not too many recommendation for it out there over a stock or ported stock LT1 intake for much less than the $450 asking price
given the impressive results of this comparison

Melting Slicks
Pro Dyno Tech tune, Crane Gold 1.6RR, SLP claw, 52mm TBI, EM Headers, Magnaflow 3"cats and X-pipe, Borla mufflers, AFR 195 heads, LT4 intake, LPE 219, E-waterpump, MSD opti, LTCC, 255lph fuelpump and AC delete got me 423rwhp and 396rwtq out of my 350. Going with a 383 and 210 comp ported heads with 1.7 rockers should get you 500 at the crank.
