Shocks for '93 corvette
#7
I agree and if i had the extra money at the time i would have gone with Bilstein. The shocks on my 93 were SHOT! I had to replace them right away couldnt wait till i had the extra 200$ I put KYB on and im very happy with the ride. I dont race my 93,just a daily driver.

Its a Corvette.
Doesn't mean you need to buy "racing" parts.
But you do need to buy good quality components that work well with the car.
Don't scrimp and buy off the bottom line of the market. (ie; KYB)
Good maintenance practices will keep any car running properly for many years.

I have had them on two '94's, an '85, a '96 Impala SS, and a '95 9C1. I liked them on all of these.
They also last better than many brands. On the Impala SS and 9C1 forums there a lot of people stating they went well over 100k miles and still good. On my '94 Corvette I went about 90k and on a 9C1 I went just over 100k and they both felt great.

Get the Bilstein B4s (also known as "HD" I believe). The B4's are Bilstein's OEM replacement shocks, i.e. the ones you should get get. B6s are sport shocks (the ones I just bought), and B8s are racing shocks... at least that's what I remember from their website.
I currently have some no names in my car and it rolls like crazy at autocross, don't skimp on shocks.
