Default HOK-2151 question with L98's

I installed the hooker super competition headers the other night in my 88, what's the deal with the alternator bracket? The factory bracket fits the #1 cylinder area.

1) did anyone try to restall this factory bracket?
2) did anyone remake another bracket to fit cylinder #3 area?
3) does some make this re-placement bracket?

Please help...

I bent the bracket in a vise and made it go to the farthest forward bolt on the #1 exhaust.

You will have to make a custom one or not run it at all. I haven't been running that bracket for the last 5k miles, so far so good.

Scorp508, I can crank the motor and everthing is fine, till I hit 2k rpm then I noticed some slit vibration(s). So then I took it out for a test run and noticed (while motor is in 3500 rpm, just B 4 shifting) some type of vibration? Did/do you have the same issues?
