1992 LT1 missing at Idle
I have a distinctive miss at idle on my 92 LT1. It's all stock and has 60,000 miles.
Setting at a light is when it starts to miss.
No problems under load or WOT or just cruising.
I did put new plugs and wires at 57,000 miles.
Could a coil be going bad or the Opti-Spark starting to fail?
No codes are present and like I said, the car runs good except at idle in drive.

Melting Slicks
I would think that a coil or spark plugs and wires would also show at WOT. Maybe that isn't the case 100 percent of the time but it's my thought. If the EGR was leaking you would notice it more at idle than WOT. I think you can rule out fuel as well if it runs good at WOT. Do you notice any difference between the engine being warm or cold? Hmmm, well I tried to get the ball rolling for ya.
