Default Hard to start 1986 Corvette

I recently purchased my first Corvette. A 1986. 71000 miles. It runs great but after I drive it awhile and shut it off, It starts very hard. It does start but takes a few cranks? any Ideas??

Check for error codes:

You might have a bad CTS (Coolant Temperature Sensor). The one for the ECM is located on the front of the intake manifold under the throttle body. If the connector is corroded or the connection is broken the ECM will think the coolant is very cold and will richen the mixture.

Leaky injectors can also cause hard restart due to essentially flooding the engine. One way to check for this is to hold the accelerator to the floor before cranking and until it starts. If it starts easier doing this than normal then you likely have bad injectors.
