Cool95vette

The a/c fan on my 1987 non-digital a/c started only blowing on high. Would this be caused by the fan switch in the dash going bad or are there other causes?

Not sure on the Vette, but when I have had similiar issues to repair on other cars it was usually the blower motor resistor that went bad and not the switch. Sometimes though the switch contacts can get dirty or worn and cause issues. I'm sure someone here can tell you exactly how to get the problem fixed on your Vette, good luck.

My '86 did the same thing. I changed the resistor, then the switch. Turned out to be the relay. It was about $11 and also the cheapest of the three

My 1988 the fan works but not on high. Any ideas ?
