Default harness bar to reduce chassis flex?

Title pretty much asks it all - does a harness bar help to reduce chassis flex or would the money be better spent elsewhere like the R-D X-brace from Corvette Central?

For you I think both are a waste of money. A harness bar is great for racing and using a harness. You can try to measure the flex but I didn't find any difference in the chassis with a harness bar and mine is pretty stout. Most of them are tiny and couldn't help at all. If the chassis bothers you I guess the x brace is worth it for you, to me it's just extra weight which makes the car slower.
