can I run rear sawblades on front?
Hi,
A couple years ago I put new all-weather tires on my 96 for better grip in the spring and fall. While grip is greatly improved below 50 degrees, the lack of grip in the hot weather sucks. I have a line on a set of rear C4 sawblades from a 94 with new 285 Z rated tires. Can I run these rear sawblades on front? I was thinking the hi temperature rubber and 285 width in front would work better than my current setup.
thanks
Ken

Yes, and yes.
1989-1992 ran 17"x9.5" all around.

sorry, the wheels are from a 94. So is that a 17x11"? Can that be mounted on the front or is there a spacer needed?
IIRC the Z51 option had 285s up front, so I'm thinking along those lines.
thanks

The rims won't be 11's unless it is from a ZR1 rear. The GS had an 11" rear as well but they are not sawblades.
