Default c4 distributor

I got a new hei distributor my old one has 2 plugs new one has one what do I do

My '88 has the two. If I got a distributor with one, I would think it is the wrong distributor and look for a two connection one. I assume that both plugs will not connect at the same connector.

I ordered new hei from jegs they say second plug isn't used

You need a 4 pin connector to connect to the ECM so it can control the spark advance.

The 2 pin connector goes to the power and ground pins in the distributor cap.
