My buddy has a set of 17x8.5 c5 wheels that hes about to practically give to me. These are 4 fronts which is why they are all 17s. I currently have 18 inch zo6 wheels but ive been wanted a set of wheels for slicks. How wide can i go with 8.5s? I was hoping to squeeze 275s all around which is what i have now.

also, will these wheels still be hubcentric on my c4?

The center-bore will be fine. The wheels aren't actually hub-centic for retention which is contrary to the thoughts of some and you just need to make sure you use the proper "bulge" wheel nuts.
