I like this kind of stuff its fun for the grandkids.

Need to pull the halo antenna from the ign switch on your Ford & zip tie a chip key to it otherwise the passive anti theft system (PATS) will not let the engine start.

that is a genius idea, I never even conceived doing this with a modern car. I made this for my 74 f100

I like to fabricate things too, but this looks like a good way to end up spread eagle on a hood of a cop car

Well that is different for sure! But...
I doubt that I would feel any different driving my own car just because there's a screwdriver sticking out of the ignition. If anything, I would feel nervous, not in a good way... the last thing I want is to alarm a police officer by appearing to be a felon (stole a car) just because I "want to do something different." Also the screwdriver handle really sticks out and I would be concerned about accidentally bumping it and breaking the screwdriver off, leaving 1/2 of the key jammed into the ignition cylinder and having to fish it out.
But again, that is a very creative way to re-use a broken screwdriver.

- cute idea, but I guarantee you the cops will look at it as "probable cause!" personally, I don't go looking for trouble!

Cool Key!

Buut... IMO that would put too much weight on the ignition and cause problems.
