Default What is this green wire on my 94 LT1??

I have a '94 LT1. I was putting the starter on in the dark the other night and after it was on I noticed a green wire hanging down that I apparently broke off or pulled off of something. . It's coming out of the split loom above the starter right next to the loom with the knock sensor wire. It's the only wire in this loom. Does anybody have any idea what this wire is for? I just bought the car and don't have a FSM yet. Thanks in advance.

I can't remember the color, but I believe the only 'lone' wire in that area would be the one going to the temp sensor in the head.

The green wire is definitely for the coolant temperature sensor between spark plugs #6 and #8.
