Default Radio experts please

So after adding a new radio everything worked as should. Then one day my antenna stopped working automatic and I had to unhook the battery and reboot the system and it would work for awhile and stop again needing rebooted. It stooped doing that and now radio doesn't shut off with the ignition or door unless I turn the key to ign. and off again then it shuts off. Same thing if I reboot the battery it will work correctly for awhile then start acting up. I bought it new and these things have happened sense? Any thoughts?

well... that just opens up a new kettle of fish.

WAS the car equipped with Bose? Who did the install? New speakers and wiring?

If nothing else, the easy tests are:

1. Reset the head unit. There should be a spot on the face plate where you can insert a ball point pen and reset the HU.

2. Remove the head unit and check it's internal fuse.

3. Remove the right knee pad on the dash (carpeted part) and check the RDO fuse.
