I have a 1994 CV. A/C is cold, but i can only get the the cold air to blow out the windshield defroster vent and floor vents. I press the the button for the dash vents and nothing happens, but the air is cold.
Appreciate any suggestions.

Check the 3 hose check valve under the plastic cover on the right side of the engine. It is probably cracked or broken and you are loosing vacuum to operate the vents.

The part can be bought in many auto part stores as well as EBay. Should be around $5 - $10 if you need one. (Pt # 14056648)

Thanks for the reply. I will check that. Would the vacuum leak cause the car to run rough?

Yes. Look for this vacuum check valve under the passenger side fuel rail cover. It might be broken or the hoses connected to it might be damaged.
