Default Resin question??

What's the best/correct resin to use on SMC? I know it has to be epoxy based, but what's the best brand to use and where can I get it? I heard people using evercoat SMC resin but it's poly based? Thanks for the help.

Since no one seemed to know the answer here, please bring the info into the C4 Forums so the topic can be searched here.

Thanks!

You have to use an epoxy resin. I have tried polyesther resin also as an experiment on a piece of SMC and it will not impregnate the fibers properly. I used a resin made by Ciba Geigy but it seems that they sold their plastics brands called Araldite. I think that Araldite is stillin the market but not owned anymore by Ciba ( now Novartis, and was part of the pharmaceutical)
They where great products.
