OBD1 to OBD2 Cable
Has anyone used one of these?
I already have the OBD2 to USB cable. OBD1 to OBD2 cables are much cheaper than the OBD1 to USB.
Thanks
Rob

Hi Rob-
The cable you linked to is for OBD2 cars. 1995 Corvettes came with an OBD2 connector but were really OBD1 protocol. The communications protocol is drastically different between OBD1 and OBD2. I don't think you can use an OBD2 to OBD1 adapter and get there. Very few scanners support both GM OBD1 and OBD2. I know Actron has one.

Getting away cheap
I guess my plan was to get away cheap too.
I have a OBD2 tester and a 94 Corvette. I would like to know if I have any codes. Even tho I have a OBD2 port can I jumper it and read the flashing lights. I am real green on what to do but want to learn what works.
