Default Airtex E3210 Fuel Pump

Anybody running this standard replacement fuel pump? It comes with gaskets and wiring harness. Flow rate 40 gph, pressure 65-95 psi.

I am not looking for any high performance stuff, my '85 is a DD and no track days planned. I dont want to leave a string of pieces and parts along someone's nice clean track.

I will also replace the sock, relay and possibly drop in some Bosch 3's.

Thanks for any input!

I got the stock one from corvette central....stainless unit...pretty nice....I think it was that one....miy 85 is slightly modded but it keeps up fine....didn't want rebuilt 24 # injectors so I took jon's advice and put in the 22 # ones and raised the fp a bit......works fine....

Oh yeah, there are two different shaped strainers. Which is right/better, the flat style and a canoe shaped one. The Delphi one is canoe shaped. Thx!
