Default 86 vette with vortec head and carb swap

I'm bout to do an engine swap that involves a 96 vortec engine and converting my engine to a carb using this intake http://m.summitracing.com/parts/edl-75163
With a .030 bore and port and polished heads what would be the best cam that will give the greatest output and a great sound and if possible could I get kit that include rocker roller arms

assuming stock torque converter... comp cams XR270HR

be aware that intake is pretty tall. you wont get that under a stock hood without cutting a hole in it.

What about an lt4 hot cam my friend said it would be a good set up for mine but idk. If I go with the comp cam will the push rods be a different length and will it work with roller rocker arms

I bought "Beehive" springs,Keepers and locks, for my Vortec heads. Also, you need to read this about those vortec heads. Lots of info you may not know and helpful points. http://www.superchevy.com/how-to/97458/ I bought the springs so I didn't have to do the cutting around the guides.

If I get the springs I don't need to cut around the base but will have to still have to do the 1/2 for the push rods
