Default Anyone here with Pace Setter Shorty headers for LT1?????

I saw these in JC Whitney. Anyhow, anyone have these or have any comments or recommendations for these shorties. The price on the coated ones kinda caught my eye (3 Bills). I know, I know, Long tubes are better, blah blah blah, and I have an exhaust leak in my manifolds and dont want to replace with stock parts, so save it. I need my cats (Calif) so I'm going with shorties. Your help is appreciated, thanks.

I had the exact same problem on a ford truck 351 engine. (cracked manifold) I got the pace setter headers from JC whitney. From day 1 they leaked. The flanges were so thin they warped and never sealed to the heads. I had them on and off of the truck 3 or 4 times trying different gaskets etc. Finely bought new cast iron manifolds and put them on it.
