Gale Banks 80'

Searching the sight I see that the Carbon Fiber 1/2 Shafts look as though they have had there time in the lime light and come and gone. I see they are still available but I also see some who offered them no longer do. So what are we using these days ? I'm thinking I will take mine to a local shop and have a little bit heavier Aluminum Tube used to rebuild what I have. I'm more of a Autocrosser than a Drag Racer, I'd hate to break one at speed. Is there a shop that stands out as the place to go?

There is no rebuild, you either buy used OR you have new constructed using new end yokes and the correct tubing. Not knowing your location and facilities in the area it's difficult to recommend or suggest but make sure they understand the construction.

Denny's isn't the only source. There are other quality shops that do equal or maybe have other offerings.

It might be interesting to get Denny's to actually offer up the specifications of the product they're offering. They seem to sell by OD of the tubing.
