Default A/c sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't

1994 coupe. Works great when it blows cold. But sometimes I turn it on and it blows regular temperature. Weird.

To enter the diagnostic mode, push and hold the fan up and down arrows at the same time for about 5 seconds.

The display should show "-00".

Push "Auto" and the display will show any fault codes that are stored in the computer.

Thank you seabright.

No codes, all ok. But I did pull some old codes from the computer/cluster. H67 and H71.

I'm currently having the same issue with 0 error codes showing. It could mean that nothing is wrong. I for one found a huge hole by my heater box that I patched up, it was letting engine heat into the blend door box. Fixed that, and it helped but i'm still only getting half and half. I charged the AC and the compressor is definitely working. Getting condensation on the lines as well. However I didn't replace the filter on the ac lines when i change dit (doh) so maybe that's getting plugged?

I know this doesn't help but just showing that you aren't the only one with this same issue. I'll be digging into it when i get my car back from the paint shop since summer is around the corner.

EVLGTO. If your model has a Blower Control Module located under the hood that sits on top of the heater core casing. Pull the Module. You will be able to see the door that controls air flow. See if the door swings freely. You can use a long screw driver to move it.

Sound like a good idea. Also, checkout what I found yesterday

I found out this is for cruise control and hvac. Well, the lower hose on the left has a broken off piece inside from the check valve and looks like someone tried to melt it together. But it must be leaking like crazy. If I barely touch it, it falls off. I ordered a new one yesterday. Possible issue??
