Default To EGR or not to EGR

Ok ladies and gents. Im getting the EGR code 32 so instead of going thru all the trouble of swapping the egr valve since they don't make the egr solenoid anymore should I just have a chip burnt taking it out? I am ready to go ahead and chip my computer anyway. So how much does it really help?

What year ?

You can always do it yourself by using Tuner Pro (free) and the emulator (you have to pay for that) then you can remove the tick for the egr cheack and never have those codes ever again.

This is all done live without need to pull the chip.
