EGR temp switch
I am probably going to answer my own question here at the expense of sounding stupid. My EGR temp switch broke. My buddy removed it and didn't tell me he did! Would that cause the car to start rough and hesitate (stumble) from a stop? Thanks

The EGR tube connects the exhaust manifold to the intake manifold. With the EGR switch missing you'll have an exhaust leak (assuming your buddy didn't plug the hole with something).
It shouldn't cause the car to run rough. A stumble is usually caused by a vacuum leak.
