Default Back up light lens removal on 88

I want to polish my 88 back up light lens. Removing the 2 -7 mm screws is only part of the removal. Don’t tell me you have to pull the bumper cover.

well, assuming you've pulled the bulb socket, all you have to do is pull and somewhat pivot the inboard side of the lens assembly toward you. the outboard side of the lens has tabs that fit into slots on the bumper cover. it's kind of a tight fit - you just may have to work at it a bit.

Thanks Joe, so no hidden screws. The fit is tight and considering they are 27 years old, I need to be careful.

After reading a thread from a guy who cleaned them, I took mine out and buffed them clean....really looks nice....not too hard getting them out once you see how they're set in there....
