C 13 SYS service engine
SYS has been an on and off thing for a long time. I know my battery is good and my alternator is charging. Just this past monday i got the service engine light for the 1st time. Pulled codes.#1 C 13 H 13 H 74
#4 H 43 My problem is my FSM is buried under a room full of sh.. that the wife moved so she could get me to paint the ceiling. My 93 is running fine hasnt skipped a beat...yet. I have noticed a battery drain after a few days of non use it will go down 30 or 40 percent, but she will always start. Im thinking that is causing the SYS flash. I think the 13 code is DIC related? After pulling codes i unhooked the negative cable to clear codes but the engine light came back on coming to work this morning. Any ideas?? I guess ill have to paint the ceiling this week end,i think she did this on purpose. Dave

I think im going to start with checking grounds this week end. The only 3 things that were changed in the last few weeks were muffler eliminators, alternator and driver side hinge pin. Old alternator had squeak that got the best of me. The 13 code on the #1 module has something to do with the DIC shorting to ground? Dave

Dave, C13 shows a problem with the O2 sensor.... check wiring, or faulty sensor..... according to this link:
