Default oil pan gasket question

I'm putting a new oil pan gasket on my 84 corvette and bought the new felpro one piece blue gasket. Here is the link to the one i bought

http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/f...oil+pan+gasket

Now on this one you can see on this gasket there are spots on both sides of the gasket for the dip stick, my car only has the dip stick on the passenger side. So the left side that piece of the gasket just hangs out of the oil pan. Is this the correct gasket?

Yes, it is the correct gasket. I put this gasket on my 85 and it fits well.
