Default 1/2 shaft removal

What all has to be removed to get the 1/2 shafts off a 79 coupe. Can anyone advise.

Assume your talking about your 89 and not a 79........ Remove tire. Remove dog bone (mark the place on the adjusting bolt to get in the correct position when putting it back in). Remove spindle nut. Remove straps on U-joints and remove the shaft.

Sorry have both 89 and 79. 79 has noisy u joint. It is for the 79. Didn't think about the avatar of 89. Thanks.

Not sure if it will be the same for the C3 as it is for a C4.

Suggest you post in the C3 section.
