Default Anyone using Head Studs???

I'm getting ready to replace a head gasket and I was thinking about going with ARP head studs instead of ARP bolts. What I really need to know is...if I use studs can the heads be removed with the motor in the car? I'm planning on doing heads/cam in the future and don't want to pull the motor. Thanks

You won't be able to remove the heads with the studs in place unless you remove a few of the studs in the rear first. You could also (if you wanted) use just a few head bolts on those rearmost locations.

Thanks. That's what I figured. I'll just get bolts.
