In the closed system with the clamps? If so you have a bad fuel pump or that line from it is loose or bad.

Ok the clamp to the left does not look like it's straight enough to seal good.

My 94 will hold all night and all original stock. I would fire it up and work it a few times to make it die and sniff your hose again. And gas smell in the oil?

A good way to clamp is to use a needle nose version of what you have there and put a couple sockets over the ends.

I like that it will work good and we can have a good when he looses the sockets maybe a bit of tape to prevent this.

That is a great trick! I'll have to remember that one. Thanks!

Ok, I will. Haven't checked for gas smell in oil, will do that now and post results.

Wish I would have thought of that. Had to buy those this morning to do this with. The needle nose were actually a little less expensive, besides having to go to three different stores to find two pair of 10" visegrips wide enough to fully close off the hose.

Tried clamping off the hoses with the engine running and let it stall car. Car would shut off immediately upon clamping either hose

Ok nothing jumping out at me. If it was me I would go get a differant fuel pump and fpr and I would change the pump first and see if still no go the fpr. Not one to through parts but would at this point. Any ideas out there that I missed? But first would pull the pump and make sure that rubber hose is good and not leaking.

You probably already checked but do you have gas in your oil? Maybe from a leaky injector?

I have pulled the pump assembly out and inspected the hose there. It looks like it is brand new condition, no splits or signs of deterioration. FPR has also been replaced in the past 3 weeks. I had a cheap one from Advance when this started, bought a Delfi brand FPR from NAPA thinking this was a FPR issue.. I still have the cheap one, but the car is doing the samething with the Delfi that it was doing with the one from Advance.
