Right: http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/more...nid=497&jpid=5
Left: http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/more...nid=497&jpid=4

~$35 plus some shipping for the pair. PN's are for an 85, check rock auto for your year, probably the same. They can be swapped in less than a half hour.

$40 a strut is absolutely a rip.

Rockauto lists two different part numbers because the tabs for the defroster connectors are oriented differently depending on the side.

How much that really matters though, haha, probably not at all.

ahhh, your right! there is a difference.... the right side tab doesn't clear. I'm pissed! Ecklers should have known this.

Last March, I bought a pair of supports for my '87 thru Amazon. Total cost for both: $39.99 and free shipping. The electrical connectors lined up perfectly and the supports were marked Left and Right.

Took all of 15 minutes to install (took a break after installing the first one to pour a beer...)

I love rock auto, and i am a great customer, but i've recently bought struts selled as AMS, 4903 4904... That you can seen on catalog...

And they are not excatly the same.... One is strong arm package, other one world car... They seem to be the same, opening rear hatch they twist a little Glass

I dont know what to do now... Send than back or not?? Due my locaton

I have spoken to Eckler's Corvette customer service, their NEW 2015 catalog shows only one type (left side), however their website and receipt shows left or right struts works. They will refund $$, sent me a FedEx shipping label for return at no cost to me. I ordered a L/R side from "StrongArms" off of Ebay for $43.00 plus shipping! I'll post how they fit when I receive them!
