Maybe someone here has some ideas about what is happening with this car, I hope so anyway. Sometimes while driving either slow or at highway speed the engine just stops running. Usually and up about a week ago you could put it in neutral and start it back up. Sunday I backed it out of the garage and shut it off then it would not start again so we pushed it back in. About an hour later I turned the key and it started so I let it run for about 15 minutes and it shut down for no reason but then I started it again and ran it for about 30 minutes. After I shut it down then it would not start so I put the cover back on. I have tried to start it several times since and it finally started today but 5minutes later it died again.

Any ideas folks. One person told me it is the OptiSpark but I think he is just looking for work since he wants $2400 to replace it. I told him no thanks because I have replaced them on other cars in the past in about 4 hours with only about $350 invested and those were not giving me the symptoms described above.

Any codes and what is your fuel pressure? You can get codes with a paper clip look on yutube to see how


Might just be a fuel or air filter

No codes, 45# fuel pressure, new fuel filter. Car sometimes runs for weeks with no problem and sometimes less than a minute.
