Default Are these rotors any good

I believe I need to replace the rotors on my C-4. I noticed at high way speeds when I break I get some pulsation in the steering wheel. So I took a quick look on Ebay and found these.

My concern is they are priced pretty low and that makes me wonder what the quality really is. Any ideas? Thanks.

FWIW - I've purchased several sets of those low cost, drilled and slotted rotors off fleabay (four (4) to be exact), and to be honest, I've NEVER had any issues with them. vendors were "brakemotive" and "irotors." installed on three C4's and my silverado pickup. all the corvettes were DD's, and front only on my truck. the longest running corvette is my 85, and they've been on the car since 2006 and probably some 50K miles. BTW, those came from irotors. one final thing - I usually purchase the rotors with pads. all the pads were usually "evolution powerstop," - some sort of carbon-ceramic pad compound.

Thank you. I didn't see any listed by irotors but brakemotive has fronts for $100 or both front and back for $133.00 So I will most likely buy all four. I did put Hawk HPS pads on it last year and that helped to make the car stop much better. My 92 is almost my DD. I use my work truck the most but I do like to drive this for other trips (not jobsite)
Thanks again

I also bought the Brakemotive brakes and rotors on ebay and they have been on my 89 for over 5 years without problem...As a matter of fact I have new front and back Brakemotive ceramic pads sitting on my work bench now that I need to put on...The Hawk pads are good pads, but I use the Brakemotive ceramics because I don't race and there is no dust at all from them .They also don't eat the rotors up like semi metallic Pads do, and they stop the Vette just fine.......WW

Last thing to do is figure out if I have 12 or 13 inch rotors.

measure your originals, or, if stock-original, check your RPO sticker for J55. unless you have that option, most likely, you have 12 inchers

Is the RPO sticker the one that is one the inside of the console? I know it has the paint code on the bottom of it.
I measured the rotors and it has the 12 inch as I suspected it would.

assuming you measured the fronts, you should be good to go at 12 -

If they were already on your car when purchased. use till worn out. Purchasing. I would highly recommend slotted Only!!! Many productions drill into the cooling fin. Stress cracks could eventually develop. This should fail inspection.

Hi

I have a set of 13'' drilled and slotted rotors on my vette, the slots can be felt as vibrations during very hard high speed braking only.

On the road they are no different to standard discs, they are definitely better when wet. No need to warm the brakes for them to start working when wet like after a car wash.

The Brakemotive rotor and ceramic pads are popular on the C5 section. Many pages of good results.

However, the good results were street driven. There have been a lot comments about their drilled rotors can develop cracks at the holes when track racing.

I bought a set for my C5, but I have not installed them yet.

that's pretty much the key - STREET DRIVEN. overall, good rotors, but I wouldn't track these things.

Real race cars do not use drilled rotors or at least not anymore. I have seen a rotor explode at Bonneville took out the wheel tire and fender.

I purchased some AC Delco rotors for a good price about 6 years ago. They were made in China to my surprise. These rotors out preformed the old stock rotors. I could feel a noticeable difference.
