Default pic of FAST system display mounted into dash

Here is a pic of the FAST system display I just mounted into the central waring center. I have no use of the old warning center since the old ECU is removed. What do yall think?Name: 20151128_103307.jpg

Don't like it. In fact I hate it so much, I don't feel you should have it in your car. Therefore, I'll, for this time only, allow you to put it in my car so it doesn't make your car look bad.

Seriously, does your gauge cluster work at all now that you have a totally different EFI setup? I assume you have to run the harness and cannot use the old one? How difficult?

Yep all the gages work except my speedo is off due to gear swap. The central warning display is no longer useful for most alarms due to the old ECU being pulled out. The new system came with its own wiring harness which I like due to the fact the old one was 25 years old brittle and lots of splicing from previous owners. It was extensive to install, alittle over my head so I had a performance shop do it, took them around 12 plus hrs.

One more question. What about the warning lights around the cluster? The "Door Ajar", "Change Oil", "Security", etc?

Looks great! How do you like using the FAST system to tune your car?

If there was a way to easily work that into mine and keep the current gauges and cluster functions I'd probably be all over it.

Looks great. I'm working on a similar setup right now using an lcd display with android operating system for my 87. Since its not obd2 I needed something that would allow me to snoop on sensors and such and also control electronics in the car. I have the relays done now so it can roll the windows up and down and work the deck lid release via voice control for me when I'm putting the convertible top up and down.

Looks great the way you installed it!

I'm sure it's a great idea if you own a dyno but what use would a regular guy have for that? You are going to have a hard time knowing what is the best adjustment without dyno feedback and it's not like you are going to make daily adjustments, is it?

Actually they make killer gauges to have in your car with his setup. You can have it show you any sensor connected to the computer at any time.

So while he may not tweak any settings it makes for a killer info panel.

Me personally, I want every light on the cluster working so I would mount it on the dash or something that I could easily glance at but that is a personal preference

Hey I hope you received my reply e mail. The seat belt light works but my security system is disabled. I hope everything still works but I truefully I have no idea if those alarms went to the old ECU.

I havent had that much time to play with it but it is real cool to see all this real time data timing, TPS voltage, timing, AFR.... its a self tuning system so you just type in the AFR for example and calibrate and it tries to obtain that target. Pretty neat.
