I don't doubt it. I wasn't trying to say that "all aftermarket coils will fail/are no good/etc"....I was just saying that I've yet to see a OEM coil fail (though I know they do) and my luck w/aftermarket coils hasn't been good. 383vett has obviously had great luck w/his aftermarket stuff...but his hours are probably pretty low.

I guess my point was that I think the OEM coil is pretty hard to beat, for reliability.

No worries. I'd have a hard time doing ANY car-guy stuff right now too. No rush, just was curious.
