Data Loger all over the place, No Start
Just finished install of 383, No start and the data logger is getting readings all over the place TPS, MAP, IAC and other sensors just keep jumping all over the place. the timing light is flashing when cranking so I am assuming I have spark. Any suggestions were to start. I did have the battery go dead its charging now.

How dead was the batt? U gonna need more than 5volts for the ECM to work.
I would take a look at all the ECM connectors and pins - make sure nothing got bent. I u know how to use a multi meter u can make continuity/resistance checks of you circuit paths - make sure u have good continuity all the way to batt ground.
That should get u busy. Let us know what u find.

I am hoping I didn't hurt anything either, I will take a break and look at it in the morning, was hoping to get it running today because of good weather and just getting the motor back together after being apart all winter, could be I missed a ground wire putting the motor back in. as far as I can tell they are all there and bolted up to the right spots.

It is a 90 L98, and I am using ALDLDroid I am using the correct adx the same one I have used before. I used it to check my tpis before trying to start it at that time everything read ok. I will disconnect all the sensors when I work on it tomorrow and start checking things then and see how it goes. I just looked through some of the data and even the prom id keeps changing.

A jumper box on the battery or power pak http://www.harborfreight.com/3-in-1-...ter-62306.html
I looked at your data log and your right there is to much scatter data to be meaningful. My believe is the stock ECM's are very durable. I think u need verify all your connections and continuity of wiring.
Good luck.

I decided to check the data from the CCM via LCD on the dash and came up with a code 41 for the CCM, loss of ECM serial data communication's. I moved the aldl wires around and was able to get some steady reading's. I was able to start the motor and the motor sound very good mechanically. It looks like I will have to get under the dash and play around, I looked at the trouble shooting tree and in order to the test it list a bunch of adapter. Each test leads to CKT 800 so I will start their.

I thought I would update were I am at, I was not able to find anything specific so I went and cleaned all the ground points and then replaced the connectors to the IAC, TPS, MAP, IAT, and Knock Sensor. that seemed to have solved the problem. here is a copy of my last data log. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5d...ew?usp=sharing
