Help: Crane Gold Race 1.6 roller rockers C4 applications
Hey guys I need a little help. I am selling a spare set of Crane Gold Race 1.6 ratio self-aligning roller rockers, Crane P/N 10758-16. These were an extra set for my 1994 Camaro that I did not give the new owner when I sold that car.
I just had an inquiry from a guy asking if they would work in his 1986 C4, that has the L98 motor. The application chart I found shows this:
Applications
1987-91 Chevy 4.3L 90° V6
1988-99 Chevy 5.0L 305/5.7L 350
IIRC the L98 was in the C4 until the early 90s when the LT1 came in so it seems strange that the rockers would work in L98s in 88, 89, 90, but not in L98s in 86 and 87?
Anyone know for sure whether these will work in 1986 L98?
