are you installing a new one? the belt tensioner is spring loaded. I would guess 55lbs of pressure on the belt.

Nothing is changing location to require that.

From my '92 FSM, the bolts for both the Drive Belt Tensioner and the Drive Belt Idler Pulley are torqued to 24 ft-lbs or 33 Newton-meters.

Your '95 should not be a lot different, if at all.

"Laser alignment tool" ?? Nothing in my FSM that talks about that. Where did you see or hear anything about such a tool?

Thanks for that infos, are what i've need
Usually before to make a work on my vette that sounds as "new" or never done before, i like to take informations about it via web, Actually there are a lot of videos on youtube that speak about laser alignment tool, in order to get a perfect pulley alignment.

Sorry, didn't mean to come off as a smart A$$. The only need for something like this in my opinion would be for a custom type setup i.e mixed pulleys for non-OEM or moved locations of accessories.
