Default Advice appreciated

Hey to all, I am putting aluminum full roller rockers on my 1987 L98 motor. I am in need of some rocker arm stud nuts. I believe they are 3/8 studs and it has factory aluminum heads. Any suggestions on what I should buy?? thanks.gary

The poly lock nuts should come with your rockers.

Okay, you got a deal but will pay for the locks. You should use a locking nut not the standard. Look at Summit or Jeg's. Summit has a ARP lock numaber ARP-300-8243 for $78.19 per set.

Or Manley....

or

And there are many others.....

What I do when locking mine down is when I reach zero lash, I turn the nut 1/2 turn. Then turn the locking set screw down until snug. Then turn the nut and set screw at the same time 1/8 turn...locks down tight.
