Owner's Manual-Oil Pressure/Idiot Lights
There is a lot of discussion on what is normal oil pressure. I stumbled on this looking for something else in the owner's manual.
It indicates that 30 - 40 PSI is considered normal at road speeds of 35 to 40 MPH.
Lots of people have posted that they have 70 -80 PSI. A cause of high indication can be the connection at the oil pressure sender. A corroded plug can cause higher resistance which will cause higher readings.
The idiot light on points were indicated also.
