Default Advice on clutch slave cylinder

Hi Everyone

93 MT Coupe

After changing fluid, the clutch salve cylinder began to leak, so I´m going to change it. Found several brands on the internet, Dorman, Sachs, Luk, Centric, AMS….

Before buying, I would like to receive your recommendations?

To prevent future leaks, should I change the master cylinder also?

Thanks in advance

I would change both. Seems to be a crap shoot on parts. Many have posted problems with new.

Thanks!
I must choose a brand and buy the part. Is one brand a little better or are they all equal??

Jim is awesome. He reconditioned my clutch master and slave cylinders, and they are perfect.

Almost 48 hours since I wrote Jim and still no response, so I bought a Sachs slave cylinder from ebay.
Due to a meeting of classic cars (yes, here the C4 is consider a classic....) I need the car running perfect on june 4.
The part will arrive next wednesday and I have 2 days (more than enough) to work.
And if at some time Jim answers me, I will probably buy his slave cylinder, but right now I´m in a hurry

I would just call Jim. He can rebuild your originals. I'm using another brand for now until I get a chance to send my originals to Jim to be rebuilt. I bench bled both cylinders and was able to get a firm pedal almost instantly. For the slave I poured a small amount of fluid into it and moved the rod a little bit and repeated until it was full. Clutch master can be bled like a brake master
