Runs warm in town
need some help...I have a 91 5.7 Corvette...AT...any speed above 35 mph car runs a tad past halfway on temp gage....at highway speed it runs exactly at half....if you drive in town below 35 mph temp needle will get to almost 245....if I put trans in natural and hold RPMS at 2500 temp needle will drop quickly to slightly past half....place back in drive needle Is right back to 245ish withen a block. Any ideas how I can keep this cool in town.... normal...I changed thermostate, radiator cap...fans are kicking on..

Go by the digital gauge the analog lies. Most likely the radiator needs a good cleaning after years of vacuuming the streets. Take the top shroud off and look inbetween.

I agree regarding a possible blockage in front of the radiator find. You can also get under the car and check it, basically lay down and look under the front of the car where the radiator is and it should be clear of bags, leafs, debri etc.
Some people underestimate the value of the stock air dams...are your lil black airdams that attach to the front bumper in place or damaged? The center airdam is angled and redirects airflow into the radiator area - worth checking.
How's the coolant looking? I would flush the system (clear the air out of the system properly) and while your at it swap to a lower temp thermostat. A 160 or 180 degree stat and no I'm not trying to start a stat war. My old 87 had a manual fan switch and a 160 stat, no issues and my 94 has a 180 and runs warm/hot but perfect temp IMHO. GM designed the cars to run warm/hot as they decided it's best for the engine to operate in, better for emissions and the O2 sensors are at peak efficiency with higher temps.
C4s run notoriously hot but it sounds like something is up with yours due to the driving one block and temps spike up.
